Plan the rig in Lumatrix CAD, then watch it in 3D as your console runs the cues: the previs listens for Art-Net and sACN. On the night, the same desk can run Lumatrix VJ over Art-Net, so lights and visuals answer to one operator.
Download either app and everything works. A small watermark sits on the output until you add a key.
Lumatrix VJ is a one-time price. Lumatrix CAD is a yearly plan with every update while it's active. Each covers two computers, and the versions you have keep working if you stop.
Activate once with an internet connection, then run a show in a venue with no Wi-Fi.

Lumatrix VJ is for performing visuals live: clips, shaders and effects mixed in real time and sent to a screen or projector. Lumatrix CAD is for planning the show: lighting plots, venues, event floor plans, paperwork and 3D previs. Many shows use both: the same lighting desk can drive Lumatrix VJ's visuals and Lumatrix CAD's previs over Art-Net.
No. Each app has its own licence keys: a Lumatrix VJ key doesn't unlock Lumatrix CAD, and a CAD key doesn't unlock Lumatrix VJ. All your keys show up together on your account page.
Lumatrix VJ runs on Windows 10 or 11 (64-bit) and Apple Silicon Macs. Lumatrix CAD runs on macOS (Apple Silicon and Intel), Windows 10 or 11 and Linux.
Lumatrix VJ isn't: you pay once, with a year of updates (Lumatrix Pro: lifetime updates). Lumatrix CAD and Lumatrix Events are yearly plans that renew automatically and get every update while active; cancel any time from your account page. Either way each licence covers two computers, and the versions you already have keep working if you stop.
